At April 15 NA sitting, the report on the Implementation of the Procedure and the Results of the RA Government Programme for 2020 was continued.

The Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan gave a speech.

He noted that there were many challenges in 2020, and the Government worked in tense conditions.

The Deputy Prime Minister referred to two key topics: the support programme of Artsakh and the socio-economic measures to neutralize the consequences of coronavirus. He underlined that a significant part of the measures was continued during this year too.

In order to support the Government of the Republic of Artsakh and the citizens of Artsakh, about two dozens of events were implemented by the RA Government a significant part of which is still continued.

In particular, a social support was given to the family members of the missing servicemen during the military actions in the amount of 500.000 AMD per month. 600 families received support until today, total amount was 1 bln AMD.

Social support was given to the servicemen who got an injury or mutilation during the military actions in the amount of 300.000 AMD. Total amount was 200 mln AMD.

30.000 AMD per month was provided to the hospitable families of Armenia, in Artsakh – 45.000 AMD for every adult member. About 8.400 persons were received support until up to this day.

Many students were provided with 100% tuition reimbursement for the first semester of the 2020-2021 academic year. At this moment there are 4.210 beneficiaries, 900 mln AMD was actually paid.

The citizens registered in the Republic of Artsakh and who lost their residential real estate at the registration address were provided with one-time cash plus assistance in the amount of 250.000 AMD.

Mher Grigoryan stated that the general number of the beneficiaries of the above-mentioned measures exceeds 150.000 AMD. The Government of Artsakh was also provided with the cash plus assistance in the amount of 250.000 AMD.

The Deputy Prime Minister also presented the 25 socio-economic measures aimed at neutralizing the consequences of coronavirus. They were directed to the almost all spheres of the economy which were suffered from Coronavirus, as well as supporting the most insecure sphere. Most of the measures were ended, as they were one-time, however some were also continued in 2021. In general, more than 200 bln AMD was allocated in 2020in the framework of the events aimed at neutralizing the economic consequences of coronavirus.
